Applications

  • Anterior segment examination
  • Posterior segment with auxiliary lenses
  • Tonometry and gonioscopy platform

The slit lamp combines a binocular microscope with an adjustable slit beam for detailed examination of the eye, from lids and cornea to lens and, with auxiliary lenses, the retina. It is the platform for applanation tonometry and gonioscopy. A cornerstone of eye examination.

What to check before ordering

  • Mounting. It needs a surface — confirm whether you are also ordering a table or a chair unit, and that the two are compatible.
  • Illumination. Ask which light source is fitted and whether spare bulbs ship with the order.
  • Accessories. Confirm whether a tonometer mount and applanation prism are included or quoted separately.
  • Destination voltage. Specify your country’s supply voltage and plug type on the order.

Typically ordered with
